COMMON TRIGGER POINT FOR REDUCING PAIN
Instructor: Curtis Cates
Trigger Points are highly irritated localized spots of major tenderness located in a taut band of muscle tissue.  These points can cause referred pain, burning, tingling, or numbness throughout the body.  This workshop will focus on the major triggers most often seen by massage professionals.  You will learn the techniques for locating and releasing these tender spots in order to provide relief from pain, increase circulation to the affected areas, increase range of motion, and increase your client’s overall muscle performance.

NERVE COMPRESSION TESTING & RELEASE TECHNIQUES OF THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS
Instructor: Curtis Cates
There are several causes for nerves to become entrapped or compressed such as an impact trauma, poor posture, hypertonic muscles, or when the space in which the nerve travels becomes too tight.  This workshop focuses on testing the nerves of the brachial plexus using specific steps to determine which nerve is affected and where the problem exists.  Students will learn release techniques that free the nerve from painful entrapments.  This workshop is very informative and the techniques mastered are a great addition to your massage routine.

Hydro-Facial

A Hydro-facial is a premium treatment that incorporates face, neck and shoulder massage as you cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate, tone and moisturize the face.  This class will go over product selection, skin care history, the science of skin care, precautions and contraindications and the process of a basic facial.  Class includes demonstrations.
