More to come...
Curtis Cates

Curtis' massage career began in 1998 at the Castleman School of Massage where he graduated at the top of his class.  Passionate about bodywork he extensively trained in Swedish, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Sports and Reflexology massage techniques.  Curtis became an instructor in 2005, the Director of Education at the Institute of Bodywork Studies in 2006 and received National Certification in 2008.  In an effort to better understand the body he continues to study unique and diverse modalities and take continuing education specifically designed to enhance his anatomical knowledge. Because of his determined pursue of healing he has been able to develop an extensive massage curriculum as well as fine tune many of the techniques that he employs and teaches.  Students find his energetic teaching style contagious and fun.

Curtis has been extremely successful in his massage practice for many years.  His massage technique is very specific to fascial (connective tissue) and musculoskeletal dysfunctions that are exhibited by most clients.  His unique blend of techniques provides outstanding results in the treatment of chronic pain relief while obtaining optimal relaxation.  His level of commitment and his compassion for the betterment of others is evident in each massage he performs.
Michael Cole

Michael graduated from the Institute of Bodywork Studies and has helped many clients since becoming licensed in 2004.  He has advanced training in many areas of massage but his primary focus has been in the field of medical massage. Medical massage combines hot stones, swedish, trigger point, myofascial release, deep tissue  and sports massage techniques in an effort to relieve the aches and pains associated with living in a stress filled world.  As no two people have the exact same problems, each massage is tailored to the specific needs of the client.

Michael's skills continue to grow through continuing education and private studies that focus on a full body approach that provides relief from immediate pain as well as long lasting results.

When asked about the future of massage Michael replied, "With the rising cost of healthcare in our country I think people are looking for alternative ways to keep themselves healthy.  Right now if you have aches and pains you have two commonly perceived choices:  medications from physicians or manipulation from chiropractors.  I believe medical massage will be a strong third option."

Michael always puts the needs of his clients at the forefront of any massage service and strongly believes in educating and informing his clients.

Stephania Lee

"Therapeutic Bodywork" is a very different way to look at and address pain.  Stephania views it as an investigative mission to get to the real source of the pain, which is almost never where one may perceive the origin to be. Stephania's passion is to help people in pain by rebalancing the muscle groups, moilizing scar tissue, improving range of motion in joints and assisting the body to regain its natural structural balance. Focusing on prevention and/or rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunction, trauma, surgery or sports injuries has provided Stephania with great clinical success with her clients.  Her most heart-felt commitment to every single client is to work as needed at the very beginning and then have them come back only when they feel it time for a "tune up".  Stephania is often quoted, "My deepest satisfaction comes from empowering people to their own health".

Stephania Lee is an independent contractor for Institute of Bodywork Studies and the Director of her company Therapeutic Bodywork.  She was born in Italy and moved to the US just 3 years ago.  As a 12 year industry veteran she has concentrated her practice and studies in orthopedic massage modalities.  She offers an intense therapeutic  service called - Advanced Bodywork Session -  which compiles several clinical modalities together; each session is customized and concentrates on pain management.  Come and feel the difference!
